About Brian Rodgers Jr.

Brian Rodgers Jr. is an American Advertising Federation award winning commercial advertising photographer and digital artist based out of South Bend, Indiana. He's the founder and owner of Digital Art That Rocks™ and specializes in product photography and architectural photography with an emphasis on high end retouching and post production. Brian’s relentless work ethic, creative vision and technical proficiency has allowed him to craft commercial photography for SMB, global corporations and ad agencies located all across North America. His overall body of work demonstrates a real cultivation of skills behind the lens as well as a wide array of cutting edge post production techniques. 

Brian’s humble roots start with the values of hard work & sacrifice instilled by his parents at an early age. Mowing lawns when he was just a kid had allowed him to earn enough money to purchase his first electric guitar. Through the process of teaching himself how to play that instrument, he learned the virtues of patience, and the discipline to become a self motivated scholar. The discipline & patience required to become great at playing an instrument has transcended into the entrepreneurial instinct Brian has today. 

Brian's commercial photography has been featured on the cover of Photoshop User Magazine, he’s been a guest blogger on Scott Kelby’s Photoshop Insider and published in a variety of other national and international publications including Architect Magazine, Dentaltown Magazine and popular youtube shows & podcasts like The Grid, The Beginner Photography Podcast, as well as the Fstoppers Youtube Channel to name a few. 

In addition to being a full time commercial photographer, Brian has also become well known around the globe as an educator in the photography industry. His innovative techniques in product photography have been viewed over a million times on youtube. He's founded an online educational website DATR EDU, he's a contributing writer for fstoppers.com and has published the ultimate tutorial on product photography called The Hero Shot - How to Light & Composite Product Photography.
